| Motor Trade Insurance Criteria |
| The conditions below should be met for you to be eligible for a Motor Trade Insurance policy. However if you do not meet these criteria please request a call back from an insurance underwriter, as we may still be able to tailor a policy to your needs. |

| 1) |
Proposers are to be aged between 25-69 years. |
8) |
You or your business is not involved in exporting or importing vehicles. |
| 2) |
All drivers have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and held a full UK license for at least 2 years. |
9) |
You or your business do not specialise in selling, repairing, servicing or restoring:
• Sports or high performance cars
• Veteran, vintage or classic cars
• Vehicles other than motor cars or light commercial vehicles including agricultural, and horseboxes
• Any vehicle over 3.5 tonne GVW
• Any ‘grey’ imports |
| 3) |
All drivers have not been convicted or charged with a criminal offence (subject to The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). |

All drivers do not suffer from any medical conditions that affect their driving which have not been notified to the DVLA. |

| 5) |
All drivers have not had any motor insurance cancelled, refused or had special terms applied in the last 5 years. |
10) |
No vehicle you or your business own has been adapted for a disability. |
| 6) |
You or your business is not involved in vehicle salvaging, dismantling, breaking, scrap, sale of parts or recovery for such purposes. |
11) |
Breakdown recovery does not form over 25% of your business activity. |
| 7) |
You or your business are not involved in selling, repairing or restoring scooters, motorbikes, quad bikes or trikes. |
12) |
None of the vehicles owned by you or your business or in your possession are leased. |
